I am a legacy employee, so I have a traditional defined benefit pension. Very generous.
They offer a lot of benefits, but they aren't great. Medical and dental are very expensive for employee to participate.
They took away the pension plan for salary but kept it for hourly. 401K match up to 8%. Health care is not the best.
The benefits package are good, but not great. Overall, plans and coverage are not too expensive. Company matches at 6% on 401k.
IP offers excellent benefits overall for their employees. For 401(k) contribution, they will match 70% of your first 4% and then 50% for another 4% (total matching of 4.8% on your 8%). Additionally, they offer Cigna health insurance (and the cost of that depends on how much money you make) and an HRA that reimburses $500 for your health every year. In addition to all of that, you start off with 3 week vacations and upwards to 5 weeks, with tenure. Finally, a recent benefit that IP offers is student loan repayment, in addition to tuition reimbursement. Excellent benefits package overall.
Solid benefits, nothing out of the ordinary for such a large company
401k match, health, dental, paid sick leave, FMLA, vacation, floater vacations.
You pay for it with lower wages and low year over year raises.
Very reasonable premiums and they will pay $100/month towards your student loans.
Pension is amazing. Unheard of these days.
