ESPP is the best benefit by far.
Intuitive surgical offers a comprehensive benefits package including paternity leave, 401k, health and life insurance, disability insurance, health savings account and paid vacation.
Best things are the Health and Employee Benefits, as well as the Equity and ESPP programs. The 401k Matching is minuscule, which limits opportunities to balance a retirement portfolio beyond company stock
Health insurance, 401k, Time off, Stock options. Benefits were great.
Best - ESPP can go over discount of 60% of market stock price in best case but average ~35% below market price in two years, best of best in industry, sure shot profit of ~35% on stock you purchase. - Health insurance - very cool, should be free this is top notch medical company - Dental : 2 check up free in a year so as for your wife or spouse Worst - Health care is cool, but lacking doctors on-site - Needing assistance for loan to buy home like google other company offer in 1 miles of radius (just look at that) - 401K first 750 they match 1500 rest nothing so poor - PTO - suck to the core 12 PTO a year and 10 national holiday- very poor - Promotion plan lack serious transparency
-Great Insurance and stock benefits - 401K match is only up to $1500.
Best - Incentive Plan is brilliant (Cash + RSU + stock options) plus bonus and tips - ESPP (stock purchase plan) can go upto 40% discount which is crazy and price stick on strike price for 2 year that beat google/apple incentive plans - Medical plan is type A with least you pay out of your check - Work life balance is very cool in IT - Product is ground breaking and you are respected in industry working here, stocks are doing great with zero debt in the company Worst - Lack of activities and events - 401k low match - PTO is disgusting, 4 weeks / year is needed - Not easy to change team, politicians everywhere - Young generation missing in IT, over 50 year aged crowd , needing complete makeover
Competitive in terms of the overall benefits either paid or subsidized by the company. They seem to impress that point heavily when the topic of wages compared to the competition is brought up.
The benefits provided are comparable to most companies but not as great as the companies in the Bay Area.
Health insurance package is great. Low premium for employees for medical, vision, and dental. 401K offers 100% match, which only up to $1500. The intention is to make the match for all employees, not for just the high paying employees. I think that is a fair approach.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
