When you join Intuitive, you become part of a passionately committed team that is working hard to advance the frontiers of minimally invasive surgery. As a world-class innovator, our benefits are an important part of our Total Rewards Package. Intuitive Surgical invests in top-tier benefits that are competitive within our industry and well above national average.
In 2014, our health plan and our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) both ranked #1 in employer-provided value according to the Towers Watson High Tech BENVAL ® Survey of Employee Benefits – ahead of 17 selected companies renowned for their benefits, including Google, Facebook, Roche/Genentech, and Johnson & Johnson.
While the specifics of our offerings differ by country, our offerings are competitive, comprehensive and inclusive:
401(k) matching is pretty limited, but the ESPP program is outstanding (and honestly probably worth quite a bit more than a traditional 401(k) program). Medical/Dental/Vision plans are excellent and reasonably priced. PTO is pretty good too (3 weeks to start) and increases each year at the company.
Great health insurance, other perks include discounts on anything from movie tickets to gym to at work lunches. Pretty miserable 401k.
Work-Live Balance can be obtained and sustained. Remote Office location in San Francisco is a class set up.
The benefits package at Intuitive is great. The medical benefits are great. I wish they matched more on the 401k.
4 weeks of minimum vacation needed Birthday Off needed If would be great if they can match 50% of Facebook vacation policy as listed Facebook employees will have up to 20 days paid leave to grieve an immediate family member, up to 10 days to grieve an extended family member, and will be able to take up to six weeks of paid leave to care for a sick relative,” Sandberg writes. “We’re also introducing paid family sick time – three days to take care of a family member with a short-term illness, like a child with the flu.”
The medical, dental and vision are really great!
Intuitive surgical offers a comprehensive benefits package including paternity leave, 401k, health and life insurance, disability insurance, health savings account and paid vacation.
ESPP is the best benefit by far.
Best things are the Health and Employee Benefits, as well as the Equity and ESPP programs. The 401k Matching is minuscule, which limits opportunities to balance a retirement portfolio beyond company stock
Health insurance, 401k, Time off, Stock options. Benefits were great.
