PTO is low compared to most companies. It is combined with sick leave. In addition, if a site has a planned shut down, you will be required to take vacation then.
Have a Time Off Bank you have to accumulate that will only exceed 160 hrs after 20 years of service. Only allowed to use 40 hrs as call off time, then get penalized with a point system when you use it. You can carry over a week into the next year, but in reality lose a week because that counts towards the 160 hrs for the year. So you lost a week the previous year too.
Flexibility of vacation depends on your position. Usually 3 weeks starting then additional weeks accumulated with longer time in the company. If you are a senior person you can probably negotiate the # of weeks off.
2 weeks of PTO and 3 days sick pay. 3 weeks of PTO starts from second year
Vacation offered is standard for industry
Varies per person. Corporate has a forced shutdown that requires you to use PTO for the winter holidays.
poor. 2 weeks to start is not good. Some forced time off ta Christmas. I had PTO at former employer for Christmas shut down. shouldn't force anyone ever when you offer so little
Vacation should start at more than 2 weeks based on experience level and should be negotiated. They negotiate for some but not for others..
Generous PTO policy, good visibility to eligible hours and easy process to submit and use PTO.
Not enough PTO days, need to request more at sign on
