Health Insurance is great and 401K is matched 100% up to 5%
JHA is comprised of many great associates who day in and day out provide dedicated service and have dedicated a lot of themselves to the company. Those who install, support, and develop are the true heroes. They are the backbone of JHA. They are what built JHA. But, many are feeling the changes over the years. There have become so many layers of management and bureaucracy. And now that we are in the holiday season, let’s mention….. No more Christmas bonus. No Christmas party. No Christmas wreath or trees to be seen on the campus as in years past. Where’s the Christmas spirit? The pressure of budgets and money money money and shareholder return seems to eclipse the true purpose, which is fundamentally customer service. This seems to be all our our department has heard these past few months. (Instead, it would be nice if there was more of a focus on the customer and products instead of money. You take care of the customer, the others pieces should fall in place.) Benefits are above average: I applaud the updated benefit package which offers uncapped matching of the 401K. This will allow those earning over 100K to get unlimited matching. On the surface, kudos. But, this also seems to benefit those more who are management and high wage earners. How this benefits the rank and file, little, especially in SW MO where wages are lower than say in Califorina…. Smoke and mirrors??? Nice PTO plan, but amount you can carryover is low. JHA has good roots and JHA has good, dedicated associates. Remove the daily fear that has been recently instilled into the associates and allow them the freedom to help further the product offering and offer stellar customer service. Fear, is like cancer.
Great benefits from PTO to health insurance
Comprehensive health insurance and stock purchase plan. 401k matching had lagged behind others until recent change in dollar cap.
Robust benefits and broad offering
There are special incentive such as non-smoking discount, etc; however there is some red tape to overcome. Tuition reimbursement is offered, would maybe be useful for a 6-sigma certification or something but is far too small to make any dent at a 4-year university for actual career advancement.
Benefits keep costing more and covering less. Each year it gets worse and worse. The pay increases do not cover the costs of insurance increases.
Jack Henry offers a lot of benefits programs, many of which have costs that are covered almost entirely by Jack Henry.
Health Insurance was very good. Pay was average to below average.
