“3 weeks paid vacation (more with seniority) 1 week sick/medical time + 1 week of personal days Generous company holidays (~10 + several "surprise" half/full days off before holiday weekends and to recharge) ”
“very good company to work for. benefits are great, pension plan is available. snacks are available and company events”
“2 months paid paternity leave, maternity probably even longer.”
The best place i ever work at in my life.
vacation, paid time off, remote, retirement plan
great company to work for
Pension (vests after 5 years)
Best benefits are flexibility and pension; very generous maternity and paternity leave. Worst - no market value increases to salaries.
Very low cost health insurance (~$45/mo for single), high deductible plan ($1400) but company contributes $500. Combined with HSA, easy to save for expenses. Covers preventive care 100%. Free JNJ Rx drugs. Good 401k match (75% match up to 6% base salary). One of the few remaining American companies with a pension, equal to 15% base salary at 5 years service. Vision is inexpensive; provides annual supply of J&J contact lenses (Acuvue) free of charge (in lieu of glasses) 3 weeks vacation, 1 week sick time, 1 week personal time, ~12 company holidays plus several "surprise" days off Free admission to several premier museums in NYC/NJ/PA. Fitness membership reimbursement up to $400/yr. Excellent and LGBTQ inclusive benefits to support starting a family, including $20k towards adoption or surrogacy per child. On campus cafeteria is good and inexpensive. Janssen and Johnson & Johnson went above and beyond caring for employees during COVID, including flexible work arrangements and a grant of paid leave for those affected by COVID and for parents/caregivers who were unable to find alternate arrangements. They also reimburse emergency childcare a few times a year.
the best part was the discounted Johnson and Johnson products.
Best is the pension plan.
Pension plan, which is vested after 5 years. 2 months paid paternity leave (maternity is probably even longer). 401k could have been better. Max match is 4%: if you contribute 6%, company matches 4%.
Good 401K match, Health plan with HSA option, good compensation
