    DECEITFUL, NON TRANSPARENT, NO COMMUNICATION COMPANY Work/ Life Balance-there is None "Benefits: According to some postings, (which I think are not real employee postings), the Employee Benefits have improved for 2016, well don’t believe the hype. They sent out a Benefits booklet by mail and email in Sept. 2015, stating the new PTO time for employees had improved, but not really when you look at the fine print closely. They gave all employees 2 Floating Holidays but with many Chen initiatives, ‘the worker’ must to be on his toes to unravel the deceptiveness of their wording and games. When an employee recently looked up the 2016 PTO information in the Benefits Guide posted on the website, he found the PTO time had completely changed from the 'Teaser’ Benefits Booklet sent by mail and email in Sept 2015. Yes, 2 floating holidays (WOW) but for people who have completed 1 through 3 years they reduced the PTO carry over time from last year and the accrual of time per pay check has been reduced so you end up with nothing improved but the same or worse than last year. Many of us lost at least 25 hours or more. He also discovered the 2016 PTO accrual time is much less per pay check than what was stated in the ‘Teaser’ 2016 Benefits package' sent in Sept. 2015. Also, the Benefits email sent in Sept 2015 has suddenly disappeared from our work emails, we can’t find it. They must have forgotten they sent hard copies by mail. It really shouldn’t have surprised me, this is not the first time this company has pulled underhanded stunts with PTO and other benefits. It is just Wrong to treat your employees this way. I thought maybe I could call HR to talk to them about the conflicting Benefits information but then I realized there is NO HR! As a private company they assume workers can be treated this way and I guess we can until we start doing something about it, like getting new jobs. Corporate America is monitored somewhat. But Chen Med/JenCare is a private company, NO One Monitors Them and their Rules. They make them up as they go and they change them on a whim, the employees are not notified. As of this posting many employees still have not accrued PTO time since Jan 1. Many employees are still owed PTO time from last year that disappeared. Emails to benefits (not HR) asking about these discrepancies are not answered. I have NEVER worked for a Company so underhanded and cheap. I really wish something could be done about this, it doesn’t seem legal. National Holidays- 6 days off, PTO time is limited (no sick days). The clinic ridiculously stays open the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve (all day long), it costs more in operations to keep the clinic open on these days than it would be to just close. What if you work after hours or on weekends- no flex-time or OT. What if you are sick? Most of us just come to work SICK, coughing and sneezing all over our elderly patients and our coworkers. Mother Chen has told employees to come to work with 103 temperatures, because that’s what she does. Is that good patient care to have your employees being sick all over your bread and butter? What if you have to go to the doctor, well you can't because you have so few PTO days. Most employees just save their PTO for family emergencies and hope maybe at the end of the year they will have some time left over to take a 2-day family vacation. Health Plan is not good very expensive. Pay- NOT GOOD unless you are a Doctor. "
