Jewel gives a week vacation after a year of working there, 15 minute breaks, 30 minute lunches, and opportunities for education and scholarships.
Work life balance, Love having fun at work.
The benefits are okay because of being in a Union, but this did come along with paying Union dues, which can be high relative to a part-time worker paycheck.
The only negative aspect of Jewel's health care plan is that you must be employed a full year before it is offered to you and then you must average a certain number of hours per week to qualify.
Great benefits and 401k packages.
It was only available to full time workers. Part time workers receive nothing in benefits and 98% of new hires are part time. Part time workers are ineligible for health insurance, dental insurance, they receive no holiday pay until they have worked a year and even then it's only a $1 extra an hour.
The benefits package is through and amazing
The health insurance was pretty good, got pretty good prices for prescriptions. You get health insurance after working a certain amount of hours.
It has vacation time and also 401 k which matches up to 7 percent which is very good for a company
Paid vacation happens after a few years of being there but you'll only have a year to use up each week you've had for the total amount of years you've been there.
