Job training is computer based (CBT's).
It’s average but doesn’t set you up to move forward
Available on line for a multitude of positions and mgt.
You have to do 40+ hours worth of computer work for them to decide you are fit for the job and then you'll be thrown at a random position that they'll train you on once or twice.
Its actually really great! They have a computer training program, then they require on the job training... Which is really helpful when youre super new to a position in the work place, or just come in not knowing about cars too much.. The "JLU" system also awards COLLEGE CREDIT for its training once completing some parts!
Northern California Franchisee lacks in job training.
Quick training, and Free ASE Certification. At least that's a good thing.
They train you pretty quick, and it always helps if you have previous vehicular maintenance experience. ASE Certification is free through Jiffy Lube.
I was well prepared for the job by the time I started.
If taken seriously and done properly, the computer based training can help you become proficient and even excel at the job. I have personally witness 3 of my employees obtain their ASE Certification just using the Jiffy Lube University training program.
