John Deer offers several Health Insurance options for employees to choose.
Health Insurance is through United Healthcare and they provide multiple plans based off of your needs. Most are high deductible accounts so employees can qualify for FSA or HSA. The company will also contribute some money towards the HSA if the employee does.
The health insurance for salaried employees is not the best, the HSA is a very nice benefit however.
I just never seemed to feel like I was covered. This is the achiles heel of John Deere in my opinion.
High deductible plan but the company gives us money to help offset. Before hitting the deductible, the coverage is fairly poor.
High premiums which increase occasionally. John Deere insurance is through United Healthcare which cover only small portions of claims. John Deere does contribute to an HSA which can help offset the substandard coverage offered by the insurance plan.
great health insurance. Quite affordable.... around $23 discounted bi monthly.
Health insurance is average but moving in the right direction. Yes, the deductible is high and you hear people complain. But my family hits it every year and the plan works well for us. It's extremely important to take advantage of the HSA, FSA, and the specific account for daycare to make the most of your pre-taxed dollars and your healthcare.
High Deductible plan with HSA contribution plan for salaried employees
They started charging employees outrageous fees for health insurance because they said their premiums had gone up ACA.
The deductibles are too high, but that is standard in the industry today.
