The medical insurance is pretty good.
Used to be able to get lab work done at the hospital, but can't anymore so it is more expensive.
Insurance/benefits pays a lot towards prescriptions.
Insurance benefits immediately and very good insurance benefits. Prescription benefits through Caremark (CVS) has given me the chance to pay very low amounts for scripts. $1 for a 90 day supply for one of my medicines. 401 K is great and you also get tuition assistance (not reimbursement) for any degree that helps you to obtain another career within the hospital. You get one week of vacation your first year. You also do not get holiday pay, but holiday hours that are available for you to use as vacation hours.
I worked there for many years. Like most healthcare facilities, they offered great PTO accrual, Matching 403(b) (50% on the dollar up to 6%), Lab Work was included for employees. Note: Benefits did change after the complete merger.
Employer paid pension package in addition to 401K 3% match.
overall great benefits and perks
Comprehensive benefits package that is comparable to other hospitals in the area. PTO, extended illness, Tuition Reimbursement, alo ng with Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. There is a retirement plan that is no cost to the employee with full vesting at five years
Healthcare benefits (Medical/Dental) were fairly inexpensive and comprehensive Pension plan and 403B retirement with employee matching 0.50/1.00
The benefits are great! Pay could be better, but the great benefits make up for it.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
