Lots available, from cell phone plan discounts, fair PTO policy, and cheap but sufficient health insurance options
One of the best perks is Dependent tuition which is 50% of tuition and fees up to the cost of tuition at Johns Hopkins University per semester. Benefit after working here for 4yrs which just changed from 2yrs last year.
Good benefits overall! I don’t have any 401k matching but the pension program is promising. College benefits are good too! Really great if you have children going to college - they cover 50%
Excellent premiums, great health providers. Assistance for tuition and childcare only for university employees.
Overall benefits package is average. It used to be much better but year after year benefits are slowing being removed or degraded (for example, no 403b match, moving from a copay to a coinsurance health benefit.) A plus - typical work week for most is 40 hours. A negative - our campus is in a suburban area with no shortage of parking and we are still forced to pay to park on campus (garage).
Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Tuition assistance, 403B, life insurance, short-term/long term disability, etc.
Very good benefits good for the name , great spoke to work around, community is very friendly, room for advancement great company to work for
The perks are truly wonderful!
The benefits are pretty good for what it's worth. You will have to mainly go to Hopkins doctors to get the full reward and if you don't you will pay a higher price to go outside of the network.
