Good benefits overall! I don’t have any 401k matching but the pension program is promising. College benefits are good too! Really great if you have children going to college - they cover 50%

Excellent premiums, great health providers. Assistance for tuition and childcare only for university employees.

Overall benefits package is average. It used to be much better but year after year benefits are slowing being removed or degraded (for example, no 403b match, moving from a copay to a coinsurance health benefit.) A plus - typical work week for most is 40 hours. A negative - our campus is in a suburban area with no shortage of parking and we are still forced to pay to park on campus (garage).

The benefits are pretty good for what it's worth. You will have to mainly go to Hopkins doctors to get the full reward and if you don't you will pay a higher price to go outside of the network.

The worst is that the insurance plan is 90/10. Meaning that your services are 100% covered if within hopkins or 10% out of pocket if seen outside of hopkins.

Tuition reimbursement for your dependents is an excellent benefit.
