    Great pension matching (2 to 1 matching). They offer separate vacation and sick leave with a persona day. They offer more leave then other companies.

    The best thing about the benefits is the 403b match. Not sure there is really anything bad about the benefits the Lab offers.

    If you contribute 4% to the lab 403B, they will match with 10.5% of your annual salary!

    APL gives 10.5% for a 4% contribution to retirement. They cover the cost of 50% long-term disability, and give you the chance to earn flex credits if you take care of yourself through yearly doctor appointments.

    The benefits system is in constant decline and being overrun by bureaucracy. This is the same as everywhere else but it is sad to see a system that was once better than all becoming generic.
