I hated the EHP coverage. I had established doctors outside of Hopkins that made the plan too costly for me. I frankly prefer the doctors outside of the institution because I find they spend more time getting to know me and meet my needs better. I switched to the BCBS plan which was negligibly more expensive when you considered my out of pocket expenses for providers not covered under EHP.
You have to pay for health insurance for 200 dollars. The health insurance doesn't really help and if emergency happens since the base is so high you are most likely to pay out of pocket.
