Very good benefits overall with percentage of matching on 401K
Lower cost health insurance than other public companies, decent 401 k match, and vacation accrual. That said George Oliver has been cutting back on the benefits recently.
Great health benefits, solid 401k program
I was a contractor so I was not offered benefits or bonuses nor was we able to participate in company luncheons or company celebration events.
Medical insurance was mediocre, RX was horrible. Vision and dental good.
Maternity leave 6 weeks paid. Lower than other large employers in Milwaukee that now give 3months paid maternity and provide 1 month paid paternity. All old white male management at JCI obviously don’t consider it an issue.
High deductible Plans makes take home place less. Good vacation time .
The health insurance plans have gone completely downhill since Tyco and Johnson Controls merged the health benefits last year. The deductibles on the high deductible HSA plan have more than doubled - that is not an exaggeration. One would think with these two companies coming together with the number of employees that we have the plans would’ve gotten even better not worse. It makes you wonder...
The worst: Very high deductible healthcare plans, very high monthly premiums, you'll pay 80% of almost all procedures and doctor visits (sometimes you'll pay $200 for a simple visit till you reach the deductible and then you'll pay 20% till you reach the very expensive out of pocket ($4,500). The best, nothing, just average benefits.
The 401k company match contribution is not contributed with each paycheck. It is withheld for the whole year and paid around March of the following year. Only HSA medical plans are offered, deductibles increase every year. Employee training is limited to preferred personnel.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
