Lots of courses you can take
Journeys takes the time to train it’s employees very well. It’s honestly a great company to work for
They do computer training for a few days and you get hands on training on the floor and in the stockroom. Managers honestly train as they go
Not a lot of training happened
Here’s the stock room, here’s how the shoes are inventoried, bring out 4 shoes to increase your sales (which the approach is understandable, but the actual rate of success is really low), also bring them out accessories and other products like socks and shoe protection sprays, close your sale and hope no one rings up their numbers for your sale. The other thing they don’t tell you is the store is pretty much a free for all. If you get the customer and someone else brings shoes for them, haha you just lost your sale.
Average video training, you get a manager shadowing you during your first couple of sales.
Watching a video should not be how you train employees, quit being lazy and make your managers do it!
not really preparing you for whats gonna happen
Gets you a little button fully prepared
They do not take enough time to train you. You get to watch a couple videos and are expected to learn everything on your own.
