Good benefits! The best part is being taken care of through both of my pregnancies while at the Journeys Group!
The forty percent off discount was a good perk but I did not use any other company perks or company insurance.
Health Insurance is good, offering of 401K is a plus, manager pay structure could be better.
No time off unless you've worked there for over a year. I tried taking a vacation and wasn't allowed a few extra days off because I had no PTO. Most companies I've worked for had a 6-9 month trial period but they refused to give out PTO. Employee discount was terrible, 40% which is great on the surface but you only get a certain amount. Managers maxed out at 1,200 for the entire year. PT maxed out at 600 I believe, made it really hard to buy anything. Everything else wasn't fantastic either.
40% off products, plus order online if your size is not available in store. 401k for everyone. But no other benefits for part time. There are minimum benefits, but it is understandable as you will only work for the company at part time for 16-25 hours a week.
You don’t get vacation till you been with the company for a year, no PTO or sick time
40% discount on everything but a couple shoes. But you can easily use all your discount quickly if you buy more of the expensive shoes which always sucked.
it would be the best job ever if they would pay their employees what they are worth. I have worked for journeys for years and am still making minium wage, I work harder than anyone on staff- including our managers.
no vacation to Time off
The only benefit was discounted shoes. But the shoes were still expensive. And they LIMIT your discount usage
