The best thing is that there is a pension plan, the worst thing is that its a required contribution and you lose the ability to decide how you will save for your retirement on your own. Another great thing is the option with Savings Plus Program for additional retirement accounts including ROTH and traditional options.
The pension plan is paid directly by the employee. The company does not help what so ever.
