Pension and other retirement savings options through the Savings Plus Program (both Roth and traditional); great personal leave accruals, and good health benefits. Fully vested at 10 years versus 20 years at the executive branch of California State Government.
No Maternity leave available here.
The benefits are generally in line with other California state agencies except health benefits vest after 10 years rather than 20 for most other agencies and there is a union currently.
A decent pension although not as good as in prior years. 14 paid holidays whick is higher than average and a subsidy for your transit into the office.
The benefits are vested at a 50% level at 5 years and 100% at ten years, as opposed to 10 and 20 in the executive branch of CA government, which is fantastic. However, the benefits one has to choose from for dental, health and vision coverage are not any better, and in some cases worse, than are provided by employers in the private sector, so "great benefits" is relative! Inexpensive, maybe, but you get what you pay and put in the time for!
Solid pay as compared to the rest of the public sector.
Pension and a 401K option. Great healthcare, dental, and vision packages/options. Good amount of time off and almost every holiday off. Free life insurance. Optional legal package. Free public transit.
The health benefits are fantastic. The retirement benefits are also good.
Health care is inexpensive and has very nice copays.
Excellent benefits, commuter pay or reimbursement and great pension
