“I had HSA. Julep had issues with the amount they contribute, but it was fixed after many emails. I contributed quite a bit from my paycheck., you can choose the amount. They contribute $60 a month for one person. The duductible is $1500 so it’ll take a min to get that into your account unless you put $ in there too. ”

“Vacation hours rollover to the next year the most you could get was 240 hours.”

“Tons a free product. You don’t even have to buy anything. Their discount is 20%-40% site-wide, but you get hundreds of dollars of product for free. Also $10 off subscription boxes.”
The 401K and benefits package was awesome!
To cover a spouse for health it’s gonna cost you over $500 a month, for yourself less than $200. Basically I used my HSA for my spouse. They match 401k, but benefits don’t really extend beyond that. They contribute to a gym membership. And there’s 2 weeks PTO.
You have to be full-time, but employees get vision, dental and low-cost medical. PTO and paid holidays.
Medical coverage is awesome! Employees pay 20% of premiums, $0 for dental and vision. PTO accrual rate is great!
The best was that they offered paid vacation in accordance with hours worked but when it came time to using it management made it very difficult . Many of us had a hard time getting our unused vacation time paid when we quit
Health insurance benefits are good and vision & dental are covered by the company, free product samples and subsidized snacks and lunches.
Paid Time Off is pretty standard!
They offer insurance for full time employees, an employee discount and one free nail service a month. They got rid of free monthly products for employees.
Relaxed atmosphere. Show up and get work done and then go home. Nice products for my wife.
Do the people you work with being completely awesome count as a benefit? Julep is pretty flexible with PTO - the execs take great advantage of that - but I think a lot of people are afraid to take it...people get pretty judgy about "hours worked" in the office. They have social events, but they're mediocre at best. They also provide free parking to the executive team (no commuter assistance for the guys and gals plugging away at $35K, and the cost for parking on Queen Anne is no joke.). Execs also get a monthly cell phone reimbursement fee, not applied to anyone else who uses their phones for work. (Catching on to some of the classism problems at Julep?)
