Training as part of employment, but no tuition reimbursement.
As a part of the program involved with our college, we all received training before we entered the classroom.
They work, sometimes redundant.
Comapny pays close attention to training and new hires are assigned a mentor to train in sales techniques
The job training expanded over several days in the Fall semester, and again in the Spring semester. The training could have been provided more effectively. The first training was for four hours after school on a Friday evening, the second and third were for 7 hours on two consecutive Saturdays. Obviously students weren't able to be engaged the entire time all three days. Luckily the training counted as hours, or else a lot of the students wouldn'tve attended. The last three trainings were also announced very last minute, so many students weren't able to attend because they had already made plans for that day. Next time, the trainings should be announced AT LEAST two weeks in advance, not five days . . .
