They recently changed to 3 weeks of vacation on your hire date instead of after 6 years. HSA plans with low premiums and high deductibles. The company contributes to your HSA ever year.
3 weeks vacation to start, 401k match up to 5%, high deductible low premium plans to chose from, great dental and vision, great HSA contributions, plenty of holidays off including the day after thanksgiving.
I had heard that they give three weeks of vacation starting out which is nice. That is for fulltime employees only.
The Railroad Retirement Plan among the best.
The cost was the best thing. It is dirt cheap compared to most companies. The railroad has its own retirement system with no 401k but the company does give you an opportunity to buy stock. Insurance is based on availability during the month. If you are not available a certain amount days during the month, you lose your insurance for 1 month.
Great railroad retirement benefits after you are fully vested...takes 5 years. Railroad retirement is definitely better than SS.
Co Pays ....dr is 20 for a basic visit dental is a one time yearly deductible of 100 per family
The best Benefit is the retirement. It is Railroad retirement and not Social Security and very secure
No sick leave and only two weeks of payed vacation
