Health/Dental/Vision insurance is average still spend thousands out of pocket for services. No retirement program. The 401K match is only 3 % of employee contribution. Outside of vacation/sick time there really isn't anything else unless you are in upper management.
The cost of the health insurance quadruples to add a spouse instead of doubling. Health care is through Aetna. Even the high deductible plan is expensive. While it didn't require referrals for specialists, I was constantly avoiding going to the doctor to avoid the costs, which isn't good health care. I couldn't imagine working here and having a kid. You had to use up your vacation and sick days before FMLA. No paternity leave. Although it's a media company and there's this thing called the internet, the bosses are not good about work from home flexibility even though you're expected to be on call 24/7.
The 401k match is back. It's not great.
No 401 Matching or HSA Matching
As with most benefits packages, the cost of health insurance is high depending upon your selections and family needs. There is a 401k retirement plan available for employees meeting eligibility requirements. Generally the benefits are comparable to other companies from my experience in this area.
The best thing about the benefits package is the FULL package, health, dental, vision, 401K.
Part-time employees aren't eligible for benefits.
10sick days, 2 weeks PTO, 8 paid holidays, gas and phone stipend,
