Working from home is awesome at Kaplan. But you get calls all the time during your "free time" that make it so it feels like you're always working
The job requires being in the classroom to either teach or proctor. You can handle administrative duties from home, but there is no central office to report to, you are a self-sufficient employee
great to work from home and feel in touch with colleagues
Best is that the company makes it pretty easy, lots of people work from home. Worst is that we don't have very many opportunities to see our coworkers in person.
Kaplan provides all of your remote workforce equipment. It is a very flexible setup. As long as you are getting your job done, no one is hounding you about going to the doctor or picking up your kids.
There was so much flexibility involved with working with Kaplan. I often was able to work and get a lot of things done from home.
