“Even though Kaplan has a 401K Plan they only match up to 3% which is not a lot. It is good to have a 401K Plan benefit though”
“Different packages available depending on your needs”
“None for adjuncts, because we are part time anyway”
Benefits were great! I had over a dozen times in which the opportunity in benefits was able to close the gap financially for my family and I.
Three separate retirement benefit accounts, not a great idea.
Kaplan University offers their employees great healthcare and dental insurance as well as great paid time off benefits. After working a year you got 10 PTO days.
Expensive coverage, fair vacation and other coverage.
It's o.k. Not bad, not great. Could be better.
Great place to work, but little room for advancement.
Great benefits package, also benefits starts day one of employment. Paid vacation and holidays. They are flexible and fair in the schedules and PTO.
Best thing about the benefits package: It is great to be able to contribute with the 401K and this company has it Worst thing about the benefits package: Even though there are benefits, they still take a lot from the paycheck and co-pays are high when it comes to health insurance, some companies also have pet insurance or discounts, this one does not
You can be let go at any time if enrollment is low
For adjuncts, GOK and matching 401K. Worst is medical, but that is because of Obamacare
