Investigators work from home but the work (other than the reporting) is outside the home
All work is from home. Door-to-door mileage and hourly wage. If you get lost, traffic delays, etc., they pay you. They know how long it takes to accomplish each tasks and use computer maps to ensure mileage is reasonable. Not sympathetic to those who relocate. You better have Internet service locked in, utilities locked in, etc., because once you start, you better not have issues because the fast paced learning leaves you no time to handle issues.
Working from home is not as glamorous as it may seem giving the on realistic workload you're really have time to spend at home because you always out in the field
Working from home is cool, but it gets lonely, and also hard to separate work-life from home-life as you literally bring work, home. If you have children, forget it.
Work from home is nice
Contractors work from home offices that are required to meet specific federal security guidelines.
Working from home base provides a comfortable setting, a big plus.
Being home is nice and flexible easy schedule
Can work from home for a select few people, but the workload is just as bad as mentioned before. Don't get the benefit of company activities due to being in a different state. Have never met face to face with supervisors or director.
