Great work life balance when needed
They short you hours for working an average 44 hour week when compensating your pto hours
Don't compare to other oilfield companies in the area. 120 hrs pto but that includes sick leave as well. Other company's transfer years of service nand give you sick leave
Ha! You get it but can’t use it and you lose it at the end of the year.
There is no difference between PTO and sick time. All employees start with whatever vacation they negotiate for, and then they give you an extra 40 hours of PTO on top of that. You use it for vacation, sick leave - whatever. I started at 3 weeks vacation, but when they switched to a PTO format, they bumped me to 4 weeks. Highly recommend anyone being offered a job here or anywhere else - ask for an extra week of PTO up front when you counter. You'll either get it, or they'll raise your compensation as a negotiation.
You have to Negotiate on your vacations leaves. By default they will give you 2weeks only But that also includes sick Days
Switched to PTO the last year and seems to work for some. Depends if your manager micromanages for personal time or not
good vacation package for oil & gas
We had 9-80s paid vacation , holidays , no sick days
Good vacation however there were real significant differences based on whether someone negotiated more at hire with a weak manager.
