Kindred's culture of caring for our patients and residents begins at our core - our employees. Quality care is a direct result of what you do every day. We repay your commitment to us in a number of ways, including through Kindred's Employee Benefits Program. We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
Paid Holidays and decent vacation accrual. I don't use the health insurance provided, but they do offer medical, dental, two vision plans, and an FSA. Just started matching employee contributions up to 4% of salary. Tuition reimbursement of $2500/yr. Most other organizations offer $3000, so definitely not far off. Professional development with continuing education programs.
Full benefit available. Participants in healthy steps program helps decrease the cost .
Pricey, but gives Kaiser as an option, which is a plus for me
Health insurance good but zero company contributions to 401k
Good vacation & paid time off
Flexible time off, several options of healthcare and additional options available
The best benefit that Kindred Healthcare offered was its health insurance coverage which at the time was provided by United Healthcare.
401k matching is almost non-existent.
They would not provide this or if you were eligible to receive it was to much to be taken out from the little pay they gave.
Best: 10% match up to 4% of your salary in 401k Worst: very little choices for health insurance
