King & Spalding values our employees; as a result we strive to offer a comprehensive benefits package to meet the needs of all of our lawyers and staff.
The benefits at K&S are great. Different health plans you can choose from, along with dental and vision, and a nice profit sharing plan.
Health insurance is very overpriced.
The 401k, vacation time for professional staff, and other perks (celebratory lunches, staff appreciation gifts) are all great. The only negative benefits-wise is that the health insurance is rather expensive compared to other similarly sized firms. Annual increases to premiums is normal, but when you're already paying a lot for insurance, it is very frustrating.
great benefits provided by the company
Best: great health insurance, free long-term disability. The health insurance has very low copays compared to other employers' plans.
Attorneys in the Discovery Center do not get access to the 401K benefits offered to other attorneys at the firm.
Amazing parental leave for lawyers (18 weeks maternity, 6 weeks paternity), which also extends to same sex couples. No 401k match except for maybe counsel and partners. Health insurance is fine, but pricey.
Great benefits with health insurance and paid time off. Management really cares when there is a crisis.
Benefits are typical of those for a large law firm; in other words, they are competitive, but not cutting edge.
They only offer medical. They need to offer dental and vision as well.
