“I understand that one can take up to a year off work for maternity leave. Not sure about paternity leave.”
“You get to opt in into the employer's pension scheme or opt out. I opted out. I don't know how it works.”
Slightly above average but suitable for London. Payment is on time and always in my account.
lower paying than other london university but offers flexible working schedule
They offered to pay for my travel, and enabled me to design my own workspace, asked me the furniture that I would like to see. It was a very polite and kind environment.
no bonuses and poor LWA
The best thing is the 27 days annual leave and the days given between christmas and new years, also the London Living Allowance. The worst is the spaces are not very good to work in depending on the campus you're at.
No health insurance. Good sick pay - not that I've ever used it.
Very good benefits as an employee
very good pension scheme contribution. A part for this, never tried the other benefits offered
Very good pension scheme package. Never trying the other benefits. But overall it's a good place for work.
27 days off per year. At the moment (March 2018) a good pension scheme but benefits may be reduced in future.
