The Kings County DA's Office is a city agency that offers a great benefits packages for Health, Vision and Dental with a Tiered Pension Plan.
Pay is not great, but benefits are pretty good. ADA's get unlimited sick days and four personal days. Four weeks of vacation to start increasing to five weeks although it may be hard to get that much time off. Three months of paid maternity leave and possible paternity leave. Free health care and dental/eye care with limited providers. Gym reimbursement. These benefits apply only to attorney not unionized support staff.
Vacation time is good.
Very comprehensive and flexible benefits package.
The good thing is you get free eye and dental without having to opt into an insurance plan through the job. The bad thing you only get maternity leave after being with the office for 3 years and once you have a child they will not give you paid maternity leave again for another 2 years. Also if you choose not to return to work after the maternity leave is up they make you pay back all the money you received while out on leave.
No benefits or compensation in 2015 but I used an external stipend and applied it towards the internship since it is non-paid
401 k dental and health benefits.
Decent retirement plan, great health insurance.
There is no benefits package that is offered to interns at the Kings County District Attorney's Office for summer interns.
Good amount of time off.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
