It is managed through Vanguard which is really convenient.
Health insurance is good but what was expected from a premier firm.
I haven't submitted to it yet but it looks great with matching and vested after a two year period.
The 401(k) plan is excellent, allowing $18,000 per employee or $24,000 per employee who is 50 years old or older.
Most companies do a 401K with a company match - not Kirkland. They do something better! There is a defined contribution plan where they contribute 7.5% of your total earnings (OT & Bonus' included) to your 401K - regardless of what you contribute, if anything. Much better than a match on a 5-7 year vesting schedule.
Company matches the contribution with yearly increase
7.5% salary but doesn't kick in until 2 years
Kirkland pays 7.5% of salary no matter what employee contributes. There is both a 401(k) and a Roth 401(k). Plan is run by Vanguard so costs are low.
Excellent retirement benefits with K&E contributions.
Fine. No match, but whatever.
