I think you get a week off, but again, I did not work full time to receive the benefit of vacation and time off.
People who worked 10+ years hfve like about 5 weeks of vacations and they can take it whenever they want.
It's paid time off, whats not to like?
After two years you got two weeks of vacation time and you could also cash it in if you wanted to.
Start with 3 weeks as an ASM
You get a vacation, paid Holiday/s & a personal day after 1 year & the longer you stay the more you get. (for most positions; check your Collective Bargaining Agreement as contracts vary).
paid at the avg weekly worked hours
If you put in many years, you earn lots of paid time off. However, the management puts restrictions on when you can take it.
You got to earn it and when you do there are a lot of weeks blocked.
Some older employees get 5 weeks vacation time a year but that was taken away before I started working for Kroger now the most vacation time you can get is 3 weeks vacation time a year
