37 employees reported this benefit
~30 Fidelity funds, most of which are target date or high-fee mutual (there are 2-3 low-fee index funds)
100% match up to 3% then 50% match for the next 2%, so if you put in 5% L.L. Bean puts in 4%. Pretty solid match and great fund options for where your money can go.
Bean has the standard 401K benefit.
Matched 3% of what I put in, and it accumulated a good amount of money. Every company should do this
I do not know because as a seasonal employee I did not receive such benefits. However, I hear the plan is generous.
Adequate but only available to employees working over 28 hrs per week. Hiring focus is on part time less than 24 hrs per week.
Recently changed for the better, more or less. The discretionary end of the year bonus will be put into the 401, not into the paycheck. That in itself is a double edge sword. 100% matching is only done up to 3%.
The match and investment options are good but it's no uncommon to find better. Fidelity is the service provider for the 401k and that's a big plus in my book.
Absolutely excellent matching and uses a good investment company
They allow you to participate as soon as you are hired, even if you are temporary. They offer a 100% company match up to 3% of your pay and, after that, a 50% match up to 5%.
