Some of the best benefits for part time employees
Benefits were the employee store and occasional raise.
Best - Initial 2-5 Weeks PTO (depending on position) - 401k Match (up to 5%) - ~3% annual discretionary bonus (although payout is less and less likely as the company declines) - "Flexible Work Arrangements" (aka "sleep in your office or at your house while on the clock) Worst: - Aetna low/high deductible plans are prohibitively expensive - Pension eliminated
Really great health/dental plan, company 401k contribution, employee discounts, vacation package, and more. I haven't found any bad things about the benefits package yet.
We used to have health benefits that actually covered the basics.
benefits were revised in 2017 and are much more robust. They now include paternity leave, 6 weeks maternity - even for adoptions.
401k marching was excellent, gym inside the facility for any faculty to use. Very flexible with start times and end times: had option to come one hour later and leave one hour later
LLBean offers it's basic benefits package to year round employees only. Many employees at LLBean are only seasonal so this doesn't apply them.
As a seasonal employee I received no benefits.
I am very indifferent about the benefits package with LLBean. I was not a full-time employee long enough to fully develop an opinion.
