The health benefits were tremendous. The other benefits were average at best.
Work hours based bonuses could be helpful but based solely on what projects you were staffed on. If a quarter had a lot of work on your project you would have the chance to earn a lot more. However, it was heavily tied to working over a threshold number of hours over a quarter - so would always get screwed by the ramp in work for 2-4 weeks, then reduced work - would end up not getting much compensation at all in bonuses.
only 3 weeks vacation for the most senior but did give a additional week of discretionary vacation once you used all of your accumulated vacation.Discretionary vacation does not roll over.
