At LGS, we recognize that being happy in your work and life is easier when you join an employer that understands your personal and professional needs.
LGS Innovations provides its employees with competitive compensation packages and a full array of benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, an immediate and robust Paid Time Off plan, paid parental leave (for moms and dads), tuition assistance, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), among other leaves and perks.
We also think beyond standard 401(k), medical/dental, and PTO offerings – we know today’s workforce leads dynamic lives outside the office that enable them to produce creative, innovative work in the office. Not only does LGS provide all the standard benefits you would expect from a rapidly growing organization, but we also offer additional incentives like periodic access to free professional sports tickets and employee discounts on automobiles, electronics, travel packages, and entertainment. And with a tuition reimbursement plan well above industry average, LGS is always encouraging employee growth and education – and because we know that everyone has a life outside of work, the majority of our employees are eligible to take part in flexible work schedules and a bi-weekly flex time program.
LGS Innovations benefits include:
Benefits are good compared with other companies that I have worked at.
Benefits are probably around industry standard. No huge complaints.
Pretty standard to slightly better benefits package for the industry. Much better than the smaller company I had previously worked for.
Company eliminated sick leave in 2018, which previously had been an honor system. To compensate, they increased PTO from 15 to 20 days. This is nice, but it also means that 1) people will come into work when ill, and 2) if you have a bad year health-wise, you might be worse off. 401(k) is administered by Prudential and has a 5% match; however, it vests over 5 years. So if you leave before 5 years, you only get a portion of the match. This is disappointing given how many companies now have immediate or 1 year vesting.
Great 401k match, three weeks vacation, maternity and paternity leave
5% match 401k, good health plan, 4 weeks PTO. Average salary no bonuses.
The Health package is very good overall.
Pension: since I transferred into LGS from Alcatel-Lucent (ALU), my ALU pension was gradually whittled down to near nothing (although I was able to retire early with a Lump Sum distribution). As far as I know, LGS does not provide any kind of pension benefit currently, but they do have a 401K and things like that. Post-retirement benefits are pretty much non-existent, especially with regards to Health Insurance, etc. (thanks to the ACA, this was not a huge problem for me!).
It was very comprehensive and allowed you to pick and choose what benefits you wanted and allowed money to be moved from one to the other
Pretty complete package of benefits including health care, dental, life and accident insurance. Also disability and a generous vacation plan. No eye care, but not a big deal.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
