StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

If you've been with the company 10+ years, the accrual rate of vacation (PLB) is excellent. For someone just starting out, you will receive the bare minimum.

They considered their vacation/holiday under a plan named PLB (personal leave bank). You acquired time off based on your years of service with the company. They did not allow us to donate to cancer victim related employees which I feel they should have allowed us to do.

Better than some companies, but time off can be difficult to get approved in certain departments.

Decent amount of time off hours accrued every 2 weeks.

  • Apr 07, 2015
StarStarStarStarStar Current Disturbing in Riverside, California

They refuse more time off than you get

  • Jan 28, 2015
StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Santa Fe, New Mexico

The time off is not bad the rules to use it are a bit draconian

  • Jan 19, 2015
StarStarStarStarStar Current Pst in Los Angeles, California

You begin accruing vacation hours known as a Personal Leave Bank (PLB) right away and can begin using the hours after the probation period. Hours may be used both for vacation time or sick days. The hard part is getting the time off approved.
