Medical. Land O'Lakes offers competitive, cost-effective medical plan choices that are meaningful to employees. Our Plan offerings include generous up-front funding into an HRA or HSA for both employee coverage and employee+ dependents coverage. In addition to the HRA and HSA, Land O'Lakes offers two pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to help employees save money on health care and dependent care expenses. With our wellness program, you have access to support your physical, financial, and emotional health with online tools, resources, competitions, and sleep, physical activity, and nutrition logging.
Dental. Our Dental Plan offers comprehensive coverage, including orthodontic coverage with no age limit. The Vision Plan provides benefits for both glasses and contacts, with discounts on Lasik procedures.
Parental leave. Birth moms are eligible for a maternity leave up to eight weeks, as well as four weeks of paid Parental Leave. The latter is also offered to all new adoptive and birth parents, and is a benefit that can be taken within one year of the birth or the adoption. For those who are adopting, we also offer financial assistance to off-set the cost of the adoption.
Disability and AD&D. We provide Short-Term Disability coverage to eligible employees beginning the first day of employment at no cost to employees. This program, along with the Long-Term Disability Plan, provide income protection in the event of a disability or extended illness. We provide employees with Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, with the option to purchase additional coverage for themselves and their dependents.
Saving for Retirement. We make a matching 401(k) contribution of 4% on the first 5% of pay you contribute to the Plan. In addition, a Company Retirement Contribution of 3% to 5% of pay is added to the Plan automatically, whether you contribute or not. This can add up to a 9% contribution by Land O'Lakes to your 401(k).
Amenities at headquarters. For those working at Headquarters, there is access to onsite Fitness Center staffed with certified trainers. In addition to the Fitness Center, there is onsite Wellness Center staffed with four medical professionals. The onsite Childcare Center provides childcare for children age six weeks to pre-k with low staff to children ratios.

All of the benefits are top notch, from medical to 401k and the company match us also awesome.
Incredible benefits, including solid 401K plan, competitive health and dental insurance, access to an in-house medical clinic, access to a new on-site daycare, a new (small-ish, but ample) in-house gym with a reduced membership fee, and maybe best of all, Summer Fridays. Also my management was more than willing to let our team work from home or remotely at the North Loop office -- especially when bad weather or illness made it hard to get into the office.
Benefits are affordable and have good value for dollar.
Great time off and decent 401k
The retirement benefits are fantastic in terms of matching, better than my previous employer. The health care benefits are very expensive, most of the plans offered would cost a family a lot of money out of pocket annually.
The do what they can to keep benefits great to keep you around, they really are great!
They are self insured. My out of pocket cost for the entire family on health plus dental vision and hearing was very low. The quality was very good.
