One has to contribute over $400/yr; $8/week to get the 50% food discount in select restaurants only, One had to spend over $800 per year eating in Landry's restaurants to break even...in essence employees pay for the discount program. Fertitta does not give anything away.

The one thing about Landry's that good, you pay monthly to get %50 off at any Landry's location on everything except for liquor. You can have a $100 meal for $50. They still make a profit, because they recycle spoiled food like you wouldn't believe.
