“You have to pay bi-weekly to receive any discount. ”
“The cost is absolutely insane for a company this size. The coverage is ok. ”
“It's fair i guess ff”
It’s decent it’s not the worst or best
Expensive insurance, blackout dates for PTO, and received backlash when trying to take paid time off. When I left the company I left with 2 weeks of vacation time and a week of sick time that I had not been able to use in 18 months. They do not pay out any benefits that were unused. Oh, and you have to PAY for the employee discount.
There is a discount you can pay for each check to go to any Landry’s owned property. You can transfer to any Landry’s owned property.
Expensive and very average compared to competitors if not slightly less appealing.
As an hourly employee, the medical insurance you're offered is too expensive for the wage you're being paid.
No hourly employees are eligible for vacation anymore. Even if you work full time. Insurance is so expensive. The coverage is great though (I'm in Houston). Deductible is actually pretty low. But over half of my paycheck goes to insurance for my family.
Very basic plan with Cigna, limited to in network coverage. High deductible very little choice in your care.
For hourly full time staff, Landry's does not subsidize health insurance or take health insurance payments out of paycheck. Essentially, they don't actually provide any benefits (unless you count the slight discount you get at some of their properties if you pay into the "discount program" like 20-30 bucks a month). No vacation time for many full time hourly employees (depends on when you were hired). No retirement plan for full time hourly employees. For the list of benefits, where I selected "unsure", what I actually mean is "it depends"
Very expensive for mediocre plan. Almost cheaper to get your own insurance on health marketplace.
No benefits for servers. One have to pay biweekly for an employee discount which can be used to buy meals while working or on days off at company locations.
