My job required me to travel internationally and domestically which provided the benefit of seeing places I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise and meet a large variety of people. We were also paid time and half for everything over 80 hours in a 2 week period, which happened every time I traveled to a conference. The insurance benefits were also fantastic, and when I was not on site, I was able to work from home.
Very little. Lanyon is not known for the pay or benefits. You have a kinda cool office space in Dallas and they think that this will be enough to make up for the sub-par benefits.
401k - Bad Dental - Good Vision - Good Health - Bad (terrible deductible)
Vacation time is decent.
Best: great vacation options for long term employees.
There isn't one, it is probably the poorest compensation package of a majority of the companies in Dallas.
Benefits are okay. Pretty flexible about remote work, PTO, and time off for service work. I would love to see a stronger 401k program with better matching and improved basic health care plans. Vision coverage is pretty good.
Expensive and low match on 401k
The health insurance benefits and 401k match are by far the worst parts of working at Lanyon. The Health insurance is what I would classify as catastrophic insurance with a very high deductible and the 401k match is meager. That said, PTO is on par with similar organizations and the company does offer generous professional development options and has a tuition reimbursement program. Lanyon also has a philanthropy program that allows employees to take a half day off a month with pay to volunteer for the cause of their choice. Overall, the benefits package would be much improved if other health insurance options were offered and/or the overall health care cost to employees was reduced by either cutting premiums or increasing employer contributions to employees' HSA accounts. An increase in the 401k match would also help improve employee perception of the overall benefits package.
The benefits are horrendous. The medical benefits packages are the worst I've ever seen. 401k matching is almost non-existent. Vacation and PTO are on par with other companies, though.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
