We offer eligible employees a tax-deferred 401(k) retirement plan, which includes a company match and service-based contribution, to help provide financial stability in retirement. The 401(k) plan includes options for employees to make pre-tax, after-tax and Roth contributions. Eligible employees receive a matching employer contribution dollar for dollar up to 6% of compensation with an additional amount between 3.5% to 5.5%% based on years of service at the Laboratory. All contributions are fully vested immediately. Employees can also rollover funds into the 401(k) plan from other employer plans as well as from personal IRAs. The plan offers a broad range of core investment funds and also provides access to an extensive range of investment fund options accessible by utilizing a brokerage link option.

The 401K plan is the highest matching I've seen. Your automatically vested, access is good, and the fees are very low.
