I think the best benefit I had in the end was the amount of vacation-I had 4 weeks. They also just started a volunteer program. You get one paid day per year to take off to volunteer, but it has to be approved. Worst is that cost of health insurance keeps going up and now I pay a penalty fee to cover my husband since he has insurance offered him at his job.
The cost of the medical plans and that there are only two to choose from.
The best part of the benefits package is the commission and that the benefits are not over priced.
401k with match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Good Insurance options, fair vacation/sick time allotted (except for when you receive it), flexible & custom 401k investing options.
I do not love that they partner with United Healthcare as the health provider.
The best thing was the ability to borrow paid time off if necessary. It is awarded every six months and days can be used in advance. The worst thing was the cost of the premiums for health insurance. Too much of the expense is an employees financial responsibility for sub par plans and options. The premiums were twice the expense of any other employer I have ever had.
The insurance is expensive however it is available to all employees
you are awarded vacation time twice a year in moths 6 and 11 of a 12 month year so you have to borrow your vacation time. if you leave before its awarded you owe the company back that time. nothing rolls over.
