Good benefits, several health plans to choose from, 401(k) matching
Leidos has a horrible medical plan.
Basic. Expensive benefits. High deductible insurance. 401K good. Paid vacation was basic. The company trimmed days in 2018. Worst of any company I worked for.
Comparable benefits to other companies
I've been with Leidos for 4 years and currently receive 18 days of vacation along with 7 federal holidays and 3 additional floating holidays. Health Insurance is perfect for someone without many recurring health or prescriptions but can be quite taxing on individuals in the unfortunate opposite circumstance. The retirement program is pretty average at 5% match for a 6% contribution.
Good benefits, but higher employee premium on health insurance.
No severance package and the health insurance is not so good.
The best thing about the benefits package is unlimited sick days, which are separate from vacation days. However, you can't take a day off until you have been there for more than 6 months.
Huge deductibles. The only doctor I can find is at a low-income clinic, really??!! Dental is worthless. Obamacare was actually better. They only offer ONE plan and it's HSA. Man, AWFUL!
Health Benefits are absolutely terrible. Prescription coverage is the worst. Many prescriptions not covered and you have to pay FULL COST. .. if you take any sort of medicine.. STAY AWAY, you could go bankrupt just for medicine.
