Benefits package is very typical for larger defense contractors. 401k with match, vacation/PTO, maternity leave, heath insurance option with employer paying in, etc... It is good, not great or anything special, but definitely adequate.
DRS 401k contribution is two times a year in Jan and July.
Very affordable medical insurance, 401k matching right away. Tuition assistance as well as adoption assistance also offered.
Healthcare, vision, dental are far better than major competitors up the road! Much lower premiums, deductibles, copay's, and out of pocket maxes for PPO options. Only major minuses would be with the 401(k) plan and no benefits option for dependent care/daycare like Bright Horizons. 401(k) is 5% company match and only deposits twice annually.
