It is ok and generally comparable
Health insurance and costs are increasing everywhere and Lexis is no exception.
Only true option is the high deductible insurance
Like many organizations LexisNexis has been forced to move all employees to high-deductible plans. Under my current plan (employee + spouse) we have to spend $3500 out of pocket before the insurance kicks in. Better than no insurance, but certainly not ideal.
Went to High Deductible plan when Obamacare came in, so they pay less and less.
The plans are fair - but high deductibles and significant employee contribution requirements. The company offers choice, which helps employees make cost-effective decision.

Several different options available for health insurance. Larger deductible, lower premiums.
It has all the things you need, DB pension is long gone like most other places. A concerted effort to stress the importance of benefits, shared among all RE businesses.
