    2 weeks of maternity leave

This was the paid time off. Short term disability could be used.

For a Fortune 100 company, Liberty's parental leave benefits are laughable.

Paternity leave isn't fabulous, but it is available. Maternity leave is pretty average, as well.

I received a ton of help setting up my maternity leave and was paid 3/4ths of my pay when I had only been there for 7 months.

Unpaid maternity, not uncommon for the industry.

This is not a fair or accurate assessment of how much time a new mother should have off. The maternity leave time is not enough time for a mother to fully care for a new born. Especially if she is breastfeeding. The Paternity leave time off is generous compared to many other companies.

Parental leave is only available if you've been with the company for at least a year before the birth of your child. Even then leave is only granted for 2 weeks. The company wants to be known as an employer of choice; they should start by updating their woefully insufficient parental leave policy.
