You got good health insurance , after a year you can get 20 days sick and vacation time
Great benefits and a great place to work
Insurance does not take effect until 90 of employment. Good insurance benefits with affordable group rates. The worst part of the benefits at Life Care is that you do not accrue PTO. You are expected to work when you are sick. No time off is paid until after 1 year of service. No vacation is allowed until you have worked for 1 year. Many times the nursing staff and CNA's do not get their breaks/lunches due to working short staffed, and also have to work over due to so few hired staff to cover shifts. Led to believe during the interview process that for a 12 hour shift you get 2 30 minute breaks and 2 15 minute breaks...this never happens.
“Insurance can be accepted in a lot of places but it very expensive if you want to cover for family members.”
“There is no time off allowed until employees serve for 1 year. That is a long time to go without a break and causes much grumbling from the staff...”
“401K is offered but the company doesn't match funds at all and I think they should at some low percentage.”
