In my 17 year career, this is the worst health insurance I have had. Coverage is not 100% after deductible (70/30 or 80/20 depending on network status). You must hit the max-out-of-pocket before coverage is 100%.. Also, the max-out-of-pocket exceeds what you can contribute to an HSA under IRS rules. A single visit to the hospital and you are on the hook for a considerable portion of the bill. The company headquarters is in Pennslyvania and that is where the health insurance is based. The premiums are low, but so is the coverage.
I like having a PPO Plan for my dependents
the cost is competitive within the industry
Choice of PPO or HSA
Health insurance use to be really good then they went with a company wide plan and the coverage became less then what it use to be
The Health Insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield and provides many options in CT/MA. The optical/dental leaves a lot to be desired.
Low pay and low deductible
not the best and certainly not cheap
A OK plan , employee on average have to contribute 65% of total monthly premium
I was happy with the insurance benefits offered as they were able to offer dental and vision.
