Retirement matching was determined after the end of the year based on Lithia performance. Also the matching was applied only one time after the year ended so if you were employed for all year and left toward the end of December, you did receive any match. The benefit plan is very vague about the amount of the match but it seemed to be less than they typical 3-5% that other employers will match.

Company matched, you're allowed to pick your own investments. Program had a pretty good overhaul a couple of years ago, it was a drastic improvement on the previous programs.
It's average as long as the company stocks are doing good.

You don't know if you will get a match until the end of the year. It's a wild card. At least you can contribute on your own.
